Jerry Yang Wins 2007 WSOP Main Event!

Jerry Yang, 39-year-old psychologist from California, has emerged as the last man standing in the 2007 WSOP $10,000 Main Event beating the 6,358 players who started playing since July 6.

Yang qualified for the Main Event in a live $225 satellite at the Pechanga $1,000,000 freeroll and played under Team Full Tilt Poker. It took over 200 hands for Yang to claim the title.

The new champion picked up the gold WSOP bracelet, a Corum watch, and $8.25 million in prize money. Yang said he will donate 10% of his winnings to the Make a Wish Foundation, Feed the Children, and the Ronald McDonald House.
