Full Tilt Poker started the year right passing PartyPoker in the crucial online poker market race

Full Tilt Poker started 2008 on the right foot by overtaking PartyPoker in the crucial online poker market.

Still accepting US customers, the online poker website Full Tilt Poker real cash players came in just shy of 10,000 over a 24 hour period average while the peak just narrowly beat out PartyPoker, which has been struggling to gain more customers outside the US since leaving that market just over a year ago.

PartyPoker is facing increased competition from other online poker ventures. Both the OnGame and iPoker networks are breathing down PartyPoker’s back in the international markets.

Among the remaining top US-facing poker rooms, UltimateBet.com, Absolute Poker and Bodog Life Poker are promising more aggressive advertising over the next year and have expressed their long term commitment to Gambling911.com in helping them accomplish this feat.

PokerStars continues to lead the pack with double the number of players as Full Tilt.
